A few weeks ago, I had the absolute joy of photographing Rob and Victor’s wedding at the gorgeous Hotel Baker in St. Charles, IL. Honestly, the whole day was just amazing—a perfect mix of elegance, romance, and those little moments that make weddings so special.

Hotel Baker was the perfect backdrop for their celebration. It’s such a beautiful place with its historic charm and amazing views of the Fox River. You could feel the excitement in the air all day—everyone was so ready to celebrate Rob and Victor’s love. Every little detail, from their super stylish suits to the gorgeous floral arrangements, was spot-on and totally reflected their classic but cozy vibe.

One of my favorite parts of the day was just seeing how connected Rob and Victor were. They got ready together in their hotel room, sharing laughs and calming each other’s nerves before the ceremony. Watching them exchange heartfelt vows in the intimate setting of one of Hotel Baker’s waterfront room was so special. You could feel the love between them, and it made capturing their day such a joy.

The reception was just as incredible. It was an intimate gathering, but what it lacked in size, it more than made up for in energy. The decor gave the room a classy, timeless feel, but the real showstopper was the dance floor. Rob and Victor brought the party to life with La Hora Loca—there were balloons, light-up glasses everywhere, and so much laughter and energy. The guests had an absolute blast, and it was one of the most lively receptions I’ve seen. Their first dance was such a sweet and emotional moment, setting the tone before the room turned into an all-out celebration.

By the end of the night, it was clear this wasn’t just a wedding—it was a celebration of two incredible people and the love they share with everyone around them. As I packed up my gear and said my goodbyes, I couldn’t stop smiling. It was one of those weddings that just fills your heart.
